Ottawa Carleton Assembly of School Councils (OCASC)
OCASC is an umbrella organization for school councils and parents in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) to share share ideas, discuss current events and build community.

Parent Involvement Committee (PIC)
The PIC promotes parent engagement and collaborates with the board to support student achievement and well-being. PIC provides resources and support to parents and School Councils.

Parent Resource Library

The KHPS Parent Resource Library was created to provide parents with the information they need to engage in healthy conversations with their kids; create a positive and mindful home environment for children to learn, and support them during difficult times.


How do I check out a book?

To check out a book, visit the KHPS Makerspace, find your book, and sign it out in the Parent Resource Library binder located at the main desk. Books are checked out using the honour system so please return it in a reasonable amount of time so others may access it.


How do I return a book?

When you are finished with your book, please return it to the KHPS Makerspace and sign it back in by writing down the required information in the Parent Resource Library binder.


How do I request a new resource?

If there is a particular book or resource you would like to see added to the Parent Resource Library, please email [email protected].
